Everything I've read about the TOS is that "your account cannot be deleted nor all of your posts removed." ( from a current thread in the [about the forum] section )

The best part about moving to New Mexico was leaving behind our big mower ... and bringing a little hand mower like Rybert posted.

However, I think I like Mortimer's mower even better!!

Soooooo, ..... what you're saying is that it's not about
chucking the lawn mower ....... ?

It's all about the goat.

We got rid of our gas-powered push mower when we moved, and when we got here, realized if we did not want to lose the children in the tall grass and weeds, we would need to knock it down a few times a year. You can hire someone to mow it down a couple of times per year or get something to do it yourself.

RRR, I'd wait til you get here and see if you will need it or not. The E Mtns is fairly diverse and you might not have tall grasses or weeds on your property that need to be knocked down. Just 10 min away, a friend has no need for a lawnmower but does have to go clear brush and has offered to dig up some young evergreens for us to try to transplant to our "high plains-type" property.

We moved to NM and had zenoscape front but some grass in the back. We bought an old push mower, nothing power about it, a year later with said the Hell with this, zeno scaped the grass leaving 3 circles in the middle for planting our tomatoes or squash and never regretted it for a minute. If we had the money we would do it here as well, we might do the front in a year or so.

This is the best thread ever, and all about being off subject--I love it. So far, we've covered opppppinions, bad spelling, brain power by state, previewing posts before publishing, needing or not needing a mower, the love of goats (I'm naming all my kids Mortimer), lost children, high grass, and booted PKs (say it ain't so).

Can't wait to read what comes next. There are some great minds on this forum.
