Looking to return to ABQ. I know there are several up Central (and elsewhere). Looking to spend less than $175/week. Do you pass any of these regularly? Do they have signs advertsing their prices and (off-hand) do they look decent?
Thanks for any help!

Generally motels dont advertise extended stay like you are looking for because they make less money from it. I think your best bet may be looking for a room to rent short term.

This is a little over your preferred price range, and considerably distant to Central, but the In Town Suites (off I-25, north of Montgomery) has a rate of $189/wk.
