I think your monthly mortgage would depend on how much money you put down and how much money you have to borrow and the kind of rate you get. There were reps from B of A and Chase present but they could only give ballpark figures. Based on their info I estimated that I'd be paying something in the $1000-$1200 range (or more) provided I qualified as a first time homeowner for the 140,000-150,000 purchase price units. I hope this helps.
I haven't received a letter as of yet, but I sent in an application before the deadline. Is there any chance that I will eventually receive one or are they finished with the lottery selection for this building?
I passed by there yesterday and it doesn't appear to have terraces as well. Might just not be included on the overall construction?!? I can tell you that the neighborhood is under developed and looks dangerous given the surrounding.
If you look at the artist's rendition of the building posted on line, the terraces appear to be located on the rooftops of the shorter buildings. I counted 7--they are framed in green shrubbery. I think these are the terraces. Any other ideas? And I agree, the neighborhood is nothing to write home about but Central Park is nearby as are all of the museums located on Fifth Ave.
Has anyone out there handed in a money order for credit check but did not get an apartment? I once got rejected for an apartment for exceeding the max asset limit, but i notice there was no reference to a credit check being reported. Wonder if this is scam to just take the money with them knowing full well that i was going to be rejected. At the very least, they should have send the money order back to me!
