I have a one bedroom and live with my 3 year old daughter by ourselves. She is a pretty big 3 year old actually looks like if she's five years old. She is still sleeping in her crib or sometimes sleeps with me, but i so want her to have her own bedroom. When I spoke to the housing manager she told me that because she is a girl just like me I would have to wait until she's 7 or 8 to do the transfer. Is this true?? Please let me know I need advise..

I don't know how large those NYCHA apartments are, but when my family lived in a 1-bedroom, we put 2 beds in the bedroom, 2 in the living room, and my brother had his crib. Then we replaced the crib with a bed when he grew out of it. Two people in a one-bedroom should be a cinch.

They are normal, it's just that she's starting pre-k in September so I would like to fix up a room for her..but I guess I'll start by getting rid of her crib and buying a toddler bed and put it right next to mine..
