Hey guys so I went to my interview today and we met the income guidelines , for 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom. The guy also said we have a really high chance of getting called back because we had everything and our number is really low #68 he also did say that they just started doing interviews for gateway Elton II. I asked him about the lease signing He said we would get a call back to sign more papers to get a city approval and from there they would call to offer an apartment. I forgot to ask how long thou. I feel confident but then you just never know with these lotteries lol. A few people also where denied right on the spot I was just glad that wasn't me.
Awesome. I'm glad the first part went smoothly. So you should get called back from them 2-4weeks. I got called a month after the initial intake interview to sign more paperwork for the city approval. Good luck to you.
Thank you, good luck to you as well hope were neighbors soon lol, the guy the interviewed me also said construction will be done in about 30-45 days he said they haven't offered any apartments yet but as soon as people get approved they will call them to offer
I received a letter to come in for an interview about a month after the lottery ended. My paper work was good i was told it would be sent for approval. A month went by from then I received another call to come in so we could sign a few more papers to be sent to be approved. Could anyone please let me know how long it should take to be approved 2-6weeks?
I went throught the same process 2 weeks ago YoungInNYC
I still didn't call back after to complete the second part and I did mines on April 7 and brought my money order on the 11 how long after the credit check did it take
I will give them a call once its been a full month from my last interview which will be in a few days. I know the city moves slow, and move in was said to be "june/july". So I would like to be able to hand in my money for the credit check. I'm just excited and nervous. I don't want to seem too impatient & they push my file aside.
