How did you hear from HDC? Did they call or email you or a send a letter in the mail? Was it actually from HDC or was it from the management company (MHANY)? or was it Forest City Ratner which according to some people here is who you will be signing the leases with? I can't' believe I am still holding out hope.. i'm a definitely masochist. So I was checking around the market rate rental listings for this building and some say NO PETS. When I viewed my supposed apartment back in November after everything was sent to HDC I asked the person giving me the tour about the pet policy and she said pets are allowed, maybe she was wrong? Maybe because I mentioned having a dog that I lost my spot!? I can totally accept that. If I don't hear anything by Jan 1st, my new years resolution for this year is going to be simple... to just forget about all of this housing lottery stuff until I get another shot.
some apartments aren't ready and probably wont be until next month which is what i was told... so if a lot of you haven't heard anything after getting approved by hdc its most likely because ur apartment isn't completed....
Interested my paper work has been submitted to HDC and now they are saying I'm missing documents. How funny. But I'll get it down and dirty with them lol. Best of luck to everyone.
