Who's applying?

The one and two bedrooms look gorgeous, plus they have W/D in each unit. The cons are, pricey for AMI 130's

Just checked it out online. This place looks amazing! I hope they make the "affordable" units just as nice as the market rate units. $3120 for 2 bedroom! Spacious apartments.

My understanding is that the building was originally supposed to be condos but they just recently switched to being rentals instead. I am going to pass on this one since I am really liking where I am at now at $3-400/mo less for my studio and I'm only a few blocks away so this wouldn't be a location upgrade.

Condos?! Wow! No wonder the apartments are bigger than normal lol.

Good luck with your apartment- glad you like it.

I applied. Eight months from now they'll send me a request for documents and I will say "Why the hell did I apply for a place that's $400 more than where I am now *and* in downtown Brooklyn?"

Those transportation options and shopping options and that washer and dryer and pool tho...

Hahaha @AnxietyBiscuits comment. I also applied and thinking if I would go through with it in the next year as it's costly.

Especially since I will soon be moving in to The Lois building (350 Clarkson Ave). My first lottery apartment! Super excited! Will see if I'm willing to give it up for 1 Boerum Place if I ever get approved.

Whoever wins this lottery really wins the lottery. The one bedrooms are 725 ft² and the two bedrooms are 1,117 ft².

Now that's what I'm talkin' about! No animal cage microstudios in the building

LOL!!!! ....or Micro apartments with no living room.

I applied. This would definitely be like hitting the "housing lotto."
