I still had HC open from last night, did a refresh on new lotteries and saw this building is up now before I got the under maintenance screen lol. looks good. Not get to see the AMI available but I believe it was 145 units.
Is this the new way to get people out of the projects ? If you have 100% preferences wouldn’t you get called automatically?
Community board gets 50% with most developments but no one will be “called automatically” because if 50,000 people apply but there are only 145 units… well you get the idea.
I don’t think the numbers of this will fall over or even up to 50k , There will be people who will have up to 105% Preferences in this and even if you have 50 CB plus 50 NYCHA you will be called sooner or later. This building looks exactly like the plans of how the city wanted to build and rebuild new NYCHA buildings

Even if they are asked to submit documents doesn’t mean they’ll qualify. People apply for plenty of developments that they don’t qualify or have preferences for lol
Why is it that the preference percentages add to more than a 100%. Does that mean some people have to check multiple boxes
Yeah this also has me questioning how I understood how preferences work. If it's not an error. Maybe this one they'll call batches and then apply preferences that way.
Well if it's gonna be filled with nycha people that building will be destroyed in a year...
