It means Habitat for Humanity owns the land your house sits on. They purchased it from the state of New York and made it livable again. Habitat is leasing the land to you. Probably a portion of your normal property taxes will go to Habitat instead of NY state.
Have you hear anything from management? Have they mentioned any regarding down payment?
No. I called them they said they gonna let me know within two weeks. They don’t have any information right now. And said not to call they will let us know by email or phone
They called me yesterday and asked for some additional documents. Tax return for 2022. Let’s hope for the best
