Don’t know we applied for loan. We are giving 5% down payment let’s see what’s come up

is your house finished? if so, did you get to see the inside? did you choose this house or they just assigned it to you?

I thought it was 1% down... Did you opt for a higher down payment?

I think that is a minimum. If you provide more downpayment, your monthly mortgage payments could decrease.

Perhaps also avoid paying for Mortgage Insurance if the downpayment is large enough.
