Restaurants near Penn Station (New York, York: hotel, house, train)

Hello,
My mom, two daughters and I will be leaving NYC from Penn Station and our train leaves at about 8pm. We'd like to find a nice place to grab dinner before we go and I'm wondering if anyone has some good ideas for restaurants within walking distance of the station. Thank you!

restaurant on 8th Avenue and 33rd street next door to the New Yorker Hotel and Tick Tock Diner, good corned beef, pastrami etc sandwiches

Tracks Bar and Grill on the seventh avenue side of the LIRR terminal at Penn Station is very good.

Yeah there's a million places near that area...in addition to the above mentioned Koreatown is a block or two away if you like Korean food

It depends on what you mean by "nice" and "walking distance." Right around Penn is not a great place. If you spend some time searching, I did recently see a surprise of a good restaurant review in the vicinity - sorry that I can't recall the name. If you'd consider walking from the west 40s, you'd have far more options.
