Going by population density, Forest Hills is far from a suburb. If you look at the census tracts that compose Forest Hills, you'll see numbers like 88,000; 72,000; 95,000 etc.
Anything over 20,000 people per square mile is urban (at least by my standards). Even over 10,000 people per square mile is still relatively urban by the standards of most Americans.
