Coming over to NYC for new years eve........fly in on the Friday 28th and return 2nd Jan 08. anyone got any suggestions for new years eve on what I can do, I have heard hanging out on the streets is a no no as the police close areas early and you cannot move out once in...I would like to see the celebrations though but avoid this......staying in Times Square if any help ? Clubs maybe ?
We put a similar thread on here couple weeks ago. We are also flying over to NYC for New years on the 27th, somone suggested buying a copy of Time Out New York when we arrive there. Apparently to get into clubs you have to book weeks in advance and buy one of there New Years package deal. Still trying to find out what clubs are good to go to though.

I found one club that looks relatively good and relatively cheap (£45.00 per ticket) compared with most being £100+.
How many of you are going out there ? where your from etc? jsut me and a mate going and staying times square.....i think i saw your note from few weeks back.

What music are you guys into? We like RNB & Funky House. See were not
sure what clubs we should get tickets for, as we dont want to end up in a crap club that plays crap music.
Also in google type in clubzone, New York and the very top link should be NEW YORK NEW YEARS EVE NEW YORK. Check this out. They will notify you when Tickets are available. (Soz couldnt put the link in im at work so needed to rush, ha ha)

Yes we have been to NYC before in May 2005 it was absolutely brilliant loved the place. Did all the tourist things back then, so we just want to go out and party this time really. Cool give me you e-mail address and ill let you know of any other clubs and things I find ,keep you informed.
