Can anyone help me find a place to get a short term loan for up to 300 dollars. I need it pay off rent which is due in the middle of June. I noticed payday loans is illegal in NY and i went to two bank (chase and capital one) and they will only give me a loan value for $1,000. I basically need some extra cash to pay off rent. I am working two jobs, have already sold some unwanted things

You can go to the local welfare office, and request a "one shot deal".

You can try to find a loan shark.

If you have a checking account, you can request to be approved for 'advanced checkin', or whatever it is called, the service allows you to tender a check greater than your balance and the bank will pay. Essentially its a line of credit, the bank will charge interest, and the advance is considered a loan.

You could get a cash advance from your credit card company.

ET, phone home!

Be creative, got a talent? Street performers do earn. So does simply begging.

Luck!

Try threating Chase and Capital 1 with the I will close out my account if you don't give you a $300 loan. Mention all those BS commercials about these banks treating their customers like royalty and all that crap.

Take the loan your bank or Capital One is offering, and just spend the amount you need and just put the excess back on the loan, that way you would only owe $300 plus maybe finance charges instead of the grand.

Banks such as Chase, Capital One, Wells Fargo and a few others will only give me a loan for $1,00 or more. I don't need all that money, all i need is a small amount of money only about $300. Its a bit strange to take out more then what i actually need

Where can i get a payday loan? Most places seem to refuse me because i live in nyc which is illegal in ny state

So get the $1,000 loan and immediately pay back $700 of it.

The main advantage of short term loan is this that you have to pay a less interest than long term loans.Conditions are not very strict as it imposed on long term loans.
