I truly hate Manhattan in the hot, humid summertime (Lee: salons, crime)

I much prefer the warm weather rather than that cold. After this winter, I wouldn't be mad if the weather stayed like this forever lol.

I actually find the weather quite pleasant and amazing. I love being outside..especially around mid-late afternoon.

Its the subways that are hell. The moment I step in im soaked

OH no way. I am a warm weather person all the way. HATE wintertime and cold and especially snow and ice.

Does everybody work outside or something? Unless you're in construction or something to that effect, I don't see how the heat can be an issue if you work in Manhattan because most likely you work in an air-conditioned office.

I lived in Manhattan's East Village for 27yrs in a rent controlled 3br apt paying less than $1000 and moved to a 1br apt in Queens paying a little over $1000 just because I couldnt deal with the traffic, congestion, lack of parking, etc...

I can wake up, run to the bank, supermarket, gym, etc, without any hassles now. I can either walk or drive and not have to circle the block 9 times before a spot opens up where I have to constantly run out to feed the meter. I moved 2yrs ago and havent looked back since. Weird how I work in midtown manhattan and get to work faster from Queens than I did from the east side of Manhattan. Go figure.
