There are 125 of us in the Oct. Class.. The comishner said that as of right now the class is not cancelled . He also said and I (I had to wait for the firday before this class for approval. The truth is commishrner Dougherty can not yes yes it's a go yet. But if was not going to happen he would have said it's itnot going to happen. So after hearing him address us today I still looks good for November believe me when I tell you we want you guys to com on probably more than some of you so keep Faith don't give up.good luck

Keep the faith and be positive. 4 years to get in the October class. With a list number in the high 800's I figured I would of been hired in 08. But hey what can you do.. Good luck! Hope November happens!!
I hope November happens too. I have been waiting for soo long. I just have bad history with the city because the SAME exact thing happened to me with the FDNY in 08. They froze the hiring for 2 years when i was as close to getting on as i am now and then the law suit happened last year and the list got thrown out. I feel like i'm having Deja vue!
This is totally F#$@&D! At least the list is good through 2014 so we will get called eventually
