There is no one I can call or talk to?
It says I'm still on the list for 6063.
The last driving class is next week.

As far as the cdl course goes you can go out and hire a private school. Actually it will be cheaper. However you will need to get a doctor to fill out the federal medical certificate form, available on the dmv site, so you are not restricted to municipal vehicles.

I call the DCAS number and it says I'm still on the list for this exam. Is there anyone I can call to see if I was cleared or to check what I need to do next? I, like many others, have dreamed about working for DSNY!! Especially when my 6 year old son said he would be so proud to see me driving a sanitation truck!! I've jumped through all the hoops and did all the running around....
I don't want to just give up now. There has to be something I can do or someone I can call.
Hey Darlene, I dont know for a fact but if you saw your doctor and he did what was asked you should be good. Maybe you wont get in now but you will soon. The thing that sucks about this is we all need to be patient. There might not be a class now anyway, so dont lose sleep. Youll get on with all of us who are waiting.

I've been losing sleep every night!!!! I'm sick to my stomach!! I can't believe there is no way I can check if everything was accepted and approved. I hate this process of having to sit around and wait to see what they say especially if there are so many trying to get in. I just don't want them to forget about me and put me to the side. I'm going to try and call 44 Beaver Street again and see what they say!!. Thanks BATWINGS!!! I hope we all make it in!!! Congrats to all those that made it in already!!
Man I was so hoping to see people on here today proving the rumors wrong with posts of ” got the call for final processing”.
Everyone that made it in for september and october congratulations. You guys all deserve it. And don't worry out won't be long before us ”third classers” will be there too. Its just a mater of time.

Call the clinic and ask for a supervisor and plead with them for info. Say you got all of your tests redone and everything is fine. Plead with them to look you up.
Doing more with less.... I used to see 10-15 guys from other garages come to M11 to do hand broom MPL.... Now its rare.. There is hardly any MPL guys now adays...
