OP, I agree the gun laws in New York are absolutely ridiculous. But that is the way it is, and that is the way it's going to be. New York's government is very liberal and that is not going to change any time soon. Particularly NYC's local government. If you simply really need to carry concealed (legally), then you have to live in a different state unfortunately. There really is nothing more to be said.

Actually in combat training your taught that reaction time is way way way slower than reaction time.

if you got the nerve you would be surprised what you can get away with by acting first and fast even in situations like the above..

Right, and I guess we're now assuming that everybody who has a gun receives combat training, and can move like Jackie Chan. lol
