I'm trying to accumulate a list from local residents of different cities of their top 5 favorite high rises. I'd love for you to list them. Please include at least the address or name and a photo if available (unless someone has already posted by the time you put your vote in)

Thanks

my #1 fave : The Woolworth Building

#2) Chrysler building
#3) Flatiron building (might not be high enough to count, but what the heck).
#4) The GE building
#5) American Standard building

What can I say? I'm sucker for art deco and gothic.

Come on--I know it's cliche but you can't ignore the Empire State Building.

Personally, I like the MetLife/Panam building. Park Avenue just wouldn't be the same without it.

1. Chrysler

3. 570 Lexington Ave (G.E Building)
4. 90 West
5. Hearst Building

If they were still standing, the Twin Towers. I really miss them in the skyline.

oh, if I had to go with still standing buildings, I would totally add the Singer building to that list. That was an awesome building.

How common are roaches in NYC apartments? I'm moving to Bensonhurst next month and am keeping my fingers crossed.
