This week I biked to work everyday, except for today, and if I could get a dollar for every vehicle or person I see blocking the bicycles paths, I would have at least I couple of hundreds in my pocket by now.
It's ridiculous how many people use the bike paths (along 8 ave) to walk on them, instead of usng the sidewalks.

Cops are above the law, you should know this. But don't tell them that, because they will arrest you for daring to question them...and you are slapped with "disorderly conduct" and "resisting arrest", both of which will be dropped after you spent 2 days in jail as they "teach you a lesson".

Try 9th sometimes. Eighth is a nice clean run in comparison.
I walked in the street on 8th Ave long before they had bike lanes. With all the vendors, garbage, tourists standing around walking on 8th Ave on the sidewalk from the 30s thru the 50s can take you an hour. Street, 20 mins...
Cops should drive around looking for parking every time they need to get out of the car. Emergencies too. If the people can't take a single little inconvenience for those who are currently getting shot at alarming rates for them, then the pain should be spread around. If they miss your emergency looking for parking, TFB.
