RE agents with an agenda posting here are scumbegs. RE agents just sharing their knowledge or honest opinions are good guys.

Speaking of real estate, a brownstone in Bed Stuy between Bedford and Nostrand just went for $500K over asking price. If that's accurate, it makes the sale price $1.8 million. Apparently, the sale was all cash too. Damn.

7 Arlington Place Gone for $500K Over Ask

Unrenovated. That's crazy.

I never knew that Crooklyn was shot on Arlington Place.

Puts things in perspective as there are clearly many people in NYC who have enough cash that desperately want a brownstone (apparently there were multiple cash offers and the seller went with the "best and final" offer), can't afford the $3MM+ for Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope or Ft Greene or even Clinton Hill but CAN plop down $1.8MM in cash for Bed Stuy and still have $200K or $300K left over for renovations. Crazy indeed. This place has a lot of highly desirable original features so I'm going to bet that it wasn't even a developer that bought this place.
