I already accepted the offer from HRA; tomorrow is my second interview. I got the letter for FDNY after I interviewed and accepted I was just wondering if I get denied for some reason, if I'd be back on the list or not. Congrats on the certification!! The interview notices should be coming soon!

Mine came last month from DOT. After all this time, they should be able to offer something permanent. I'm not upending a full time position that pays a couple thousand more for a temporary position I have to start immediately and don't know how long it's going to last. Love to tell them I was born at night, but not LAST night!
I have received notification for secretary 2 with housing preservation. I am not going as I was hired in March as a CAIII.

I'm attending a Clerical Associate hiring pool on Wednesday. How long after you were offered a CA position did you actually start working? I was told that if I accepted an offered position at the hiring pool, it would take a while before I actually started working…due to background checks, etc.
Hi Queens girl. It took about 2.5 weeks. I was offered job at interview and accepted it. I went home with a lot of paper forms plus I received more forms via email and had to complete it in 48hrs. I had to go back in week with everything and got processed and fingerprinted. Perishable was a week and a half after.
Does anybody know what's the process to be restored back to the list if you decline a job offer and how kind does it take to have your name restored?
I have a hiring pool tomorrow with Dot it says positions include CAIII and CAIV of course level four pays more but the hrs is 2-10 In queens which I can't do not to thrill but because it is my first hiring pool am gonna go praying I get more interviews soon
Perishable? Lol I typed orientation. Orientation was a week and half later. Fyi received more hiring pool interviews for secretary IV. So the list is def open.
