I'm sure people will be thrilled to see the "damage" done by Giuliani/Bloomberg "undone" to revert to this:

they want the porn stores, the hookers, legions of druggies and bums on the street, more muggings, stabbings, killings, etc (just as long as they are not victims) so NYC can get back its "CHARACTER."

so big deal, he explained it on TV already.

My grandfather came from Greece, The Ellis Island people shortened his name, then my father modified it yet once again (Ellis Island people killed it) LOL.

When I was 20 I legally through the courts changed it back to my grandfathers original Greek last name from Greece. Now my 3 sons have authentic Greek last names that will carry on for many years to come.

There is nothing wrong with changing your name.

In Bills case it was changed once and then modified. he didnt change it 2 times like the poster said he did. he didnt

It's perfectly legal to change your name, if you are not doing it to hide past criminal actions and/or involvement.

So far their are 3 canidadets vying for contrl of Gracie Mansion. Everyone is chatting and wooing about De Blasio. Don't get me wrong, I do like him and I agree with most of his issues however the main platform should not be about income inequality, plus two it takes many years to not to eliminate but to reduce income inequality. Hell it took a generation to rebuild NYC's middle class after the white flight after post world war 2/cold war era. Also Bill De Blasio does not address poor and poverty which As for Lhota has his own concerns that seems to be calm, but NYC does not want another republican mayor. Also Adolfo Carrion Junior is running as an independent, I would like to vote for Carrion Junior over Bill de Blasio. But also NYC does not want another independent mayor as well, but even though Carrion is way different than Bloomberg but also not part of the status quo or supports it.

De Blasio won the Democratic nomination by using the income inequality as the main platform. That suggests it should be the main platform if it WORKED!

Hookers went online . Prostitution did not STOP. Well, its not entirely online. Go to places like Roosevelt Avenue and you'll find a lot of "massage parlors". As for the legions of druggies and bums on the street, they are there in growing numbers. Especially in Manhattan (in particular places like Lower East Side/Union Square area) with fair numbers in places like Chelsea.
