Hope enough families not developers see the talk and buy homes before it becomes overpriced like bed-stuy.[/

Exactly.

It begins, I checked out craigslist to see what the average price for the neighborhood is and I see this 2br in "Cypress Hills" for $1900!!! I see they are already trying to play around with neighborhood borders since this is definitely not Cypress Hills and is actually in Cityline. You can tell who they are looking to fill these apartments.

~~!@!@ ~~BRAND NEW 2 BEDROOM APT !~!~! COME SEE!!!~!~!~!~!

Then we have this studio being advertised as in East NewYork but is actually in Canarsie.

Easy Access to Public Bus & Subway- Mint Condition- Spacious Studio!

this one is $1950 for a 3br but it's located south of Linden a block away from the Boulevard Houses. The track at Linden Park is great but Linden Blvd. is just too sketchy especially in the summer.

spacious 3 bedroom in quiet area. must see!

I saw the Hendrix St. one, my only issue with it is there's no yard just a garage. The house directly across the street from this one is much better.

My folks own a brick barrel front exactly like 24 Kiely Pl. This one lacks any of the original details but nice layouts and decent reno. It's crazy that they go for almost $600K, a neighbor on our block just listed his unrenovated needing tons of work for $625K, I think realtors are going around the neighborhood and enticing people to sell with inflated prices since prices are shouting up from the mid $400K to mid $600K in a few months. At $600K I don't see the average person in the area affording the down payment and other requirements for a mortgage so we may be seeing signs of what's to come.

I saw this - if everything works out this section of Atlantic Avenue should resemble Fourth Avenue.

I'm beginning to see an increasing presence of white folks in the area recently. I am not whining btw. My niece noticed the same thing and she was staying with me back in 2011-2012 when it was a rare sighting around CH. I'm seeing a noticeable population increase in the area and it's noticeable at day and night also. These seem to be folks in their 20's and 30's ect. New comers or people from Astoria, Greenpoint, ect who moved eastward ?
