Since the curb was cut to street level, it was a driveway even if it was less than 4 feet from the wall (including the public sidewalk width).

definitions count more than practial logic. Somebody built a temporary ramp for pedestrians, so you were too close to a pedestrian ramp. case closed.
Yeah of course, even if I'm 100% right, I still may not win... But that ramp is more than 10 feet long and at such angle (location: 90'+ angle ) --- that it would be pretty stupid for pedestrians to use. Plus there is no traffic light or crosswalks!!

Oh well, ticket still is not in system. Maybe cop changed his mind?!?!?!??!?!? (is it even possible?)\\

Maybe you were parked in a T Intersections

The New York City Traffic rules allow parking at some "T" intersections—those without traffic signals, all-way stop signs or crosswalk markings—even if there is a curb cut at that location.

Check out the picture in the link below.
NYC DOT - Parking Regulations

Basically those are places where you look like you can park, but they are ramps for pedestrians that are 100% unsafe. They are also 100% legal to park in, but you're likely to get ticketed.
NYPD doesn't care because there is no accountability for them making the mistake. If they got fined $10 for every parking ticket they lost, you bet there would be a whole lot less parking tickets in the system.

Good luck, you might have gotten lucky and they misfiled, you might have been in a legal spot and you'll have to fight it, or you might have parked illegally, and you'll likely hear eventually and have to pay.

Thanks,

I heard about "T" intersections but no, imagine "T" without the right "arm" and someone made it a ramp in that corner (upper right corner), thats where I parked my car! So half of this ramp was still "open". (Cop wrote this ticket at 9:39 pm.) Apparently parking is allowed everywhere in that place except that silly corner -- now imagine at what angle pedestrian suppose to use this ramp?
