Exactly as I figured.

Also what is the racial/ethnic make up of colder street?
Mostly Asian like the rest of Flushing.

The northern part of Colden Street is in Tract 797.01, which is 78% Asian, and the southern part is Tract 845, which is 57% Asian, 18% Hispanic, 14% Black, 10% White.

I don't consider a neighborhood with the different ethnic groups of the same racial background as diverse ( I know Hispanic is not a race but you get my point).

In that sense east Flatbush would be diverse also.

I always had the notion that corona was just basically Hispanic and that lefrak was mostly black/white/Hispanic.

I know a few Africans who live there also.
The russians (or really bukharian jews) spill over into lefrak from Rego Park. Very small population of them there but more noticeable than any other ethnicity/culture in the area other than black. As for the rest of Corona, mostly hispanic but with some diversity within the hispanic group. I'd also say that there are more chinese in corona than russians in lefrak, giving corona a slight edge on diversity.

Of the people I know from corona that are not hispanic, one is russian by the forest hills border, one half italian/half black over by the ice king, an Israeli jew over by roosevelt, and a filipino on junction.

Yes, much better. The absolute worst parts of Queens like parts of Jamaica, Ozone Park, and parts of the Rockaways are still not Brownsville/Cypress Hills/East New York bad.

Totally different and opposite at that. 101st avenue looks a bit gritty.

"immigrant community they fear being deported"

LOL. what are you a comedian ? We don't have strong or really any truly-enforced "deportation" laws. "They" - could care less. We have millions and millions of "Them" here. We don't deport because: illegal will say: "Waaah, Boo-Hoo, you no like us illegals sucking off your tit of democracy, and no-like my 'el-nino' -- (who becomes automatic American CITIZEN), while I (we) continue to live here and collect benefits for REST of life, never to WORK, speak English or pay taxes: oh, then you racist gringo."
