If you need to wonder why they keep administering these agility physicals even though the list is barely moving, do the math. Twenty bucks per person keeps members of the DCAS in business, justifying their jobs. The city isn't paying a dime for these physicals, the applicants are. At 31 years old, my life has hit rock bottom. I had so much hope when I received my notice in the mail for the agility physical. These forums have shattered my hope.
Dude, your only 31,so don't say that your life has hit rock bottom. There is no reason to be sad. I got the same score as you but I am around 700 #'s lower than you. Whatever somebody in this forum says isn't written in stone,I have never heard of so many rumors before in my life until I came in here, lol.

When you take the physical later on today you will notice that some DCAS workers look like they just came from a methadone maintenance program, lol. I felt insulted in a way because I felt like the physical was set up and run like a special olympics event. You will say to yourself afterwards, this was way too easy. They should have made it a lot harder in my opinion. Yeah RetiredSanman is the only one who can write in caps and not get criticized for it,he is good people.

I have to be in Queens in 5 hours for my agility physical. My list number is #6355. My cousin was slightly above me, and went last Thursday.

Actually, having gone over some of the statistics, I think I may have a shot at getting appointed, although it probably won't happen for a few more years at least. As a newbie to this forum, I have 2 questions:

A) I read that quite a few people fail the medical exam for whatever reason. What should I be worried about? I'm drug free, not colorblind, my blood pressure's a bit high, but nothing life threatening. I wear glasses, but have close to 20/20 vision with them on.

B) My license is pretty clean. In the 14 years since I've gotten my license, I've never had a moving violation. Never had my license suspended for any reason. I have, however, been involved in 2 fender benders with minimal damage, and no injuries to either myself or the other drivers. Is that something I should be concerned about?
