ok thanks..........trying to get a handle on where they might be. And my chances.
Yeah you'll get a definite answer when you see last hired for July. It's also helpful when guys post their number when called for final processing but honestly there's so few guys in here that it'll just be misleading
Has anyone here been DQ'd for blood pressure, appealed the decision and won?
ASK THEM TO TAKE YOUR BP MANUALLY! If it seems too high, ask them to take it again. If you have big arms, tell them to use a bigger cuff, they make different sizes and that makes a difference.
That machine was so off last year, so many poor guys got DQd for no reason. I do know at least one person came back to have their BP taken and still made the class on time, but I have no idea if others made as big of a stink about it.

Can you get your own Doctor to take your blood pressure and mail the result in? I did that last year for my EKG results. I passed the medical last year they just didn't get to my list number.

I agree , last year the nurse took my Bp on the machine and it read 170 over 90 . Everybody that day had high blood pressure. I was so upset but then I saw the doctor and he retook it manually and it was 130 over 80. Insist the doctor takes it manually if the machine comes up high.
Can this info be confirmed on the 500 hire for this year?
Yes we confirmed it in early April. 4 classes of 125 just like 2012, 2013, and last year. Hopefully they keep that going forward at least lol
