In an interview with meet the press accompanied by Sharpton, Esaw Garner the "widow" of Eric Garner spoke of how she moved off Staten Island because she fears Police and Spoke of how lazy Garner was and his inablity to hold down a job due to his medical issues and overall laziness.
Isn't this the same person who when Cops gave her a citation for burnt out headlight she called Sharpton and than the cops came to fix the headlight and essentially fixed the ticket? Now she is afraid of the cops??
"I lived two, three blocks, tops, away from the [120th precinct]. So if there's a bottle thrown on my block, the 120 is coming to see about it. If there's an argument or a fight between neighbors or something, the 120 is coming to this. I couldn't stay there anymore. You know? And everything on Staten Island is centered on Bay Street. So one way or the other, you had to go to Bay Street. And that's where they all are. And they all knew where I was as well, you know."
"I'm not going to say he was a career criminal, but I'm going to say he had a past of being arrested,"
He tried working with the Parks Department. But he had asthma. You know? He had issues. You know? Heavy guy. And he was very lazy. You know? He didn't like to do anything. He wasn't used to it, so."
Yeah, I don't exactly see the point of this threat, but will let the OP address that concern. And this comes from someone who isn't convinced that the grand jury got things "wrong." Garnder's widow is going through a lot of grief; even if what she stated is 100% true, posting it seems like nothing more than an effort to tarnish the life of a deceased man where doing so is not necessary.
Eric needed to be more responsible for his actions. You can't father 6 kids and be a lazy bum. You can't get arrested 30+ times and not know how to handle/interact with cops and potential arrest.

This was the point I was hoping that would get through. I did not post the entire article she clearly states that he was selling loosies and commiting vearious petty crimes to support his family, 6 children with at least 2 different women. The youngest being an infant. Esaw saw no issue with how he was trying to make ends meet and continues to defend how he went about his business. The entire situation in the hood is just ****ed up. The people who reside in these areas have no moral compass, whether it's about fathering numerous children with multiple women, committing crimes of any nature, living off the government in as many ways possible etc....
It's obvious the guy's a loser. And so what? It's not really relevant to his dying while yes, resisting arrest.
