County? NY county aka Manhattan except for areas of Chinatown, Harlem Washington Heights and Inwood East of Broadway. For Sophisticated neighborhoods? I'd say Williamsburg, Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope, Green Point and Long Island City. Anything else that is sophisticated you should buy a ticket and head to San Francisco or Boston.
