Uh... many landlords live somewhere out in Long Island, in fact, have NEVER lived in New York.
And they are certainly not in favor of de Blasio.

Well, I don't think someone who merely owns property in NYC is entitled to an opinion on the mayor the same way someone who actually lives in NYC is.

And the average de Blasio detractor we see here is not a landlord.

I think some of the people who are attacking him are probably those UES residents, who he skimmed over when we had the blizzard that year

True. His progressive views, mainly emphasizing the fact that landlords cannot deny anyone a apartment on entitlements, have these money guzzling scam-lords, as evidenced on this board, infuriated

Of course they aren't entitled to voice any opinion at all.

And you have no idea who they are.

Although, I know most of the bigger developers and you would likely be right there.

They are much smarter than the anti-regulation people you see here.
People here are consuming the views being sold to them - by them.

And out in the world. That's what it's all about.

You can see the lack of education - or good education - by observing what people think "socialist" might be.

Often here I feel as though I am listening to my grandmother talking about the commie scares in the '50s and '60s. It had not occurred to me that this level of ignorance still existed.

De Blasio is not a socialist.

Moreover, the anti-woman and anti-gay woman babble is very telling about the sorts of people making the comments.

Entitled narcissist indeed. Chronic lateness (and he is very late) is a horrible trait.
Are you a psychiatrist ? Because you risk appearing quite stupid if you are making a diagnosis of someone that you have never met, and then doing so without the proper credentials. The first would be humorous enough.

Oh ... perhaps you are a psychic with a crystal ball.
That's it, isn't it.

This holds very true.
