All I have a question, the NYC Housing connect ad said: Rent includes gas for cooking
So that means we don't have to pay for gas for cooking --- how about the heater that's controlled by the tenant? Would the heater be considered to use gas or electric?
I am wondering so I can parse out electric v. gas costs.
So then if heat is included --- does that mean the AC is included? Because technically it comes out of the same place as the heat I think LOL correct me if I'm wrong. I have to look at the apt again when I get called
The apartments have central air because you cant have a conventional window unit . So I'm about 99.9% sure thats going to be electric. In older apartments the heat was included because its usually a steam pipe or radiator. With this building I'm not really sure as the rep from Lamgsom had no idea.
Congrats to those who got the call. I never heard any word back after I got qualified in November, so I guess I'm done. I'm glad to have had nice, informative people to talk to during this whole process. Congrats again.
