What a ridiculous mistake. I'd be raising hell. In fact, I wouldn't even move.

Yeah, once a rent stabilized tenant has taken occupancy of an apt, it's incredibly difficult to force them to move.

The person may have accidentally been put in a market rate unit, and "correctly transferred to a affordable income unit"

my log number is under 1000, so I don't know how accurate it is that they prioritize that. Im waiting like everyone else, since I originally applied for the building last year, and was contacted for my first interview in the beginning of the year. I Just think the building is taking longer than they thought and they are going to continue to delay. Im just hoping for a lease signing asap.

What is the last you heard? You have the lowest log number here IIRC.

yes, but that was a few weeks ago when everyone else was called for one. It was promptly cancelled because it was a second floor unit that was not ready. then they called me for an appointment this week, and its a different unit. They seem really unorganized. I am just hoping that its still a 1br. I will be grateful to get an apartment even if its not what I was expecting or told I was going to get, but I would love for it to be what was offered to me originally, If not better.
