I just wanted to post this for those eligible because I always feel the Phipps developments kind of fly under the radar because they're not listed on NYC Housing Connect, to my knowledge.
The address of Bam South is 20 Lafayette Ave., Brooklyn, N.Y.
You can request an application by sending a postcard only to BAM South Apartments, 245 5th Avenue, Box 427, New York, NY 10016 or downloaded from Housing Applications List | Phipps
Residents of Brooklyn CB 2 have priority.
Completed applications have to be returned by regular mail only and postmarked by Dec. 12, 2016. As far as I can see, only paper applications are being used.

Best of luck to those who apply!
Isn't this the same lottery as 300 Ashland that ended last month?
This is a new lottery. I think at least two buildings are called BAM South. There is a building boom in that area.
If you look at the name of the pdf application it says, "remarketing" meaning it was up before. Also this has the same amount of apartments & same income brackets as the 300 Ashland application.
I don't know either, I'm sorry. But if it is the same as 200 Ashland, and people who applied for that one shouldn't apply to this one also, or else risk being disqualified, then Phipps should be saying that in BIG LETTERS somewhere!
That's a good idea. Please let us know if you find out anything.
