That's because the building is a co-op.

Thanks. 1B is the studio I applied for? hahaha, that thing is ridiculous. The bed is either facing the front door or the kitchen. What schools are these designers attending? Enjoy it, whomever gets/got it.

With that kind of price, you can't really ask for more. I know is not the best design, but at least is a place to stay for a decade or two without having to worry too much about where to live.

Oh, the price cant be beat - its those CC charges that shove that thing from palatable to downright ludicrous, in my humble opinion.

I have designed much more useable space with less square footage in my day, thats all I'm saying.

The common charge for the coop includes the property tax, which comes to the range of 1400-1600, and I agree that it might be a little bit more than expected. But hey, you can't have everything right? haha

I did the mortgage calculation when I was still hoping I'd win and my mortgage over 10 years was a third of those CC charges

I mean, I'd still take it but I wouldn't be happy about it, hahah

I mean you can always sell it after certain number of years with make a killing there. See it as an investment. You can't go wrong with it.
