Back in my more liberal days (circa 1992), my friend (eventual cop) and I were at a rave in LIC back when it was actually cool and grimey. About 2,000 people attended (it was very illegal). Unfortunately for him, there were no cell phones or cameras back then. Looking back, I kind of felt bad because we had no idea if he survived or not.
