It is (except for on Sunday), but I thought we were trying to supply the OP with all possible transport options in the event the system fails.
Am thinking we have. OP asked for express bus options. QM15 during week and Saturday. When QM15 not running, QM4, 5 and 6 as options. Am certain OP doesn't want to make a million stops with local bus.

The OP specifically queried about the Q32. So I responded by providing what it entails to get home using the Q32.
Plus the express bus might not be running during the overnight hours the OP needs it to be running.

Read title of thread, then read post from OP about not wanting inconvenient commute. Am thinking it is pointless with Q32 if OP has to make countless transfers. Not any better than subway.

Read the OPs post about wanting to explore the option of using the Q32.
Depending on when the overnight shift ends, express bus service coming out of Manhattan may not have commenced yet for the day.
And during late night/early morning the bus has little traffic to compete with, nor few passangers to stop for. Could be a quick ride. Better then standing there waiting for the express bus to run its first route for the day. And safer than the subway at 4am.

True. If late at night, more transfers or whatever, and OP may be too dense to figure out commute.
