What neighborhoods you think will be trendiest in 2018 in NYC or upcoming for etc I think Long Island City, Downtown Brooklyn, West Village, Mott Haven lol, Harlem/East Harlem.
Harlem is on upswing it seeing a lot of developments than before and people starting show interest in neighborhood
Long Island City is having building boom to become smaller version of Midtown with Queens vibe
Mott Haven I can see starting cleaning up to attract young professionals one of cheaper areas of city close to Manhattan

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Inwood - east of Broadway.

I think Sunset Park will continue its transformation full speed ahead.
I drive down 3rd, 4th and 5th avenues frequently and I'm really seeing a lot of changes take place. Particularly on 3rd under the Gowanus...used to be very industrial and slummy with sex shops. Now you have industry city drawing people in. 3rd avenue is actually seeing foot traffic now , you even see couples with strollers walking around.

Why would east of Broadway take off? The only people moving there are people priced out elsewhere that can afford to be west of Broadway. The shops east of Broadway are not diverse. Mainly Dominican or "Spanish" food as some like to call it.
