Passed my physical yesterday, saw a couple guys fail the first event yesterday. Felt bad for them.
Besides getting the cdl, is there anything else I should be doing to be proactive for this process?
Dont feel bad, if they can't pass that physical they really aren't cut out for the job. I think my 5 yr old can pass that test. More room for you and people who want the job, if u fail that test u really dont want the job.
Just get CDL on your own is only thing u can do to be proactive. Other then that, just follow instructions when they're given to u. Waiting game my friend. Just dont have any pending tickets, legal issues etc and make sure blood pressure is under control, i saw a lot of guys get put on hold for blood pressure issues. Oh, and get used to not sleeping a full 8 hrs, or having a life for a while . GL
I took and passed my physical today, And I have a question for the process moving forward. I have a accidental personal injury on my driving record a few years back. Can I get DQ’d because of that?

Start getting in top physical shape for the training and the job. The shifts are no joke and baskets will have you icing your legs for months.
Jk the job is easy. Best thing to start doing if you know you’re guaranteed is to save up some money for your uniform- $500-600 and start checking out comfortable boots and gloves for yourself.

If I do have pending tickets that I plead not guilty on and wind up receiving points will it disqualify me?

Congrats on passing the physical, and no you won’t get disqualified for that.
Pretty sure the nys prescription registry only shows controlled substances prescribed to you for a year after they were last prescribed.
