Exactly. I think a few things about Jared probably appealed to Trump - including that he's very slight physically, so that I'm sure Trump enjoyed looming and dominating. But I suspect he also was attracted by the whiff of criminality in the Kushner family.
I don't think any of this stuff is new, in contrast Trump Co. is actually a lot better than Jared's family business which he specializes in low-income housing complex. Trump only does upscale condos and corporate RE, he doesn't do any low income stuff since the closing of his casinos.
However, I don't think Mueller's job is to investigate Jared's family deals that are unrelated to Russia. He's doing this is snub Trump but he's pushing hard to get himself fired.
The only reason Trump hasn't fired him yet because the establishment party wants to control Trump and get their wishes. Establishment isn't GOP, it's both parties.
It is definitely related. Jared is in the Trump election team and is Trumps SIL. If there is prior deals with Russia from him, it is a red flag.
This is why your views are distorted by liberal media. The Russian election tampering is a separate act than Russian donations. If Trump and Jared has taken money from Russian businesses during the election it is perfectly legit. Not to mention the amount of money the Clinton campaign has taken from Russian businesses has yet to be disclosed because she's the loser.
Russian meddling with the voting system and social media is perfectly valid and I do agree Russia had a hand in it but to say that Jared and Trump took money from Russia is consider illegal? It's immoral but nothing illegal about taking money from China, Russia, Israel, Saudis, etc.. Mueller is hitting Trump's associates but he couldn't hit Trump with anything because he's doing this intentionally to hit back at Trump even though, there is zero evidence that Trump took Russian money because Russia was donating money to Clinton like everybody else thought that Clinton was the winning team. The Clinton Foundation investigation is on the docks with Jeff Sessions waiting to start it once the FBI hacks are fired and cleaned out of the bureau. FBI did a lot of partisan work for Hillary and Obama. Never even looked at Obama's ordering of Comey to wiretap Trump.
Why don't you look at how much money Clintons made off with the Russia Uranium deals essentially giving Russians an advantage to precious metals, the Clintons sold out America to the highest bidders. Yet they haven't locked her up yet shows how deep the swamp is in DC.
