It is in my reasoning, that the Defendant would not move, if a naked woman was seated next to, or adjacent to, Said Defendant.

Omg, you are so ridiculous, I can’t even . Don’t stop though I need the laugh and I’ve had enough Netflix to last awhile.
The stench of cigarette smoke is so repulsive. The tobacco companies should be mandated to package cigarettes the way they do in Europe. The images on the boxes are graphic and shows the real life health consequences of smoking.
To quote Denis Leary: "It doesn't matter how big the warnings on the cigarettes are; you could have a black pack, with a skull and crossbones on the front, called TUMORS, and smokers would be around the block going, 'I can't wait to get my hands on these ****ing things! I bet ya get a tumor as soon as you light up!'"
Look, we (smokers) aren't complete morons. I know they're terrible for me, and we've all seen the photos/articles outlining exactly how and why. But there's a reason it's called an ADDICTION, and most smokers got addicted before they were old enough to care. And even with the cost of a pack now exceeding $9-10 (with tax) in places like CA and NY, we still pay that while saying "I really shouldn't spend this much, but....." I might finally be priced out, though, since I really can't justify or afford to spend $200-300/mo on the habit. We'll see.
All of that being said, I detest nanny laws like this, and do worry it's a slippery slope. I happen to be a very considerate smoker (yes we do exist), mostly because Californians get NASTY if you're not. I rarely smoke while walking down a busy street, or any other place where it could be invasive to non-smokers. I'll even put it out if I see someone walking towards me, especially if they have a child in tow. I realize not everyone is this considerate, but honestly - if you live in freaking NYC, you should be used to the constant assault of unwanted smells, non-American manners, etc. And I'm originally from the NE, with my dad being a native Brooklyn-ite, so I know what it's like there.

Oh please. Stop trying to justify a disgusting habit. You smokers should take up tobacco. Chew it until your heart is content and it wouldn't harm others.
