It really is, especially if you are sick. It irritates the hell out of my throat area, and makes it that much more difficult to get rid of the sickness you have. Supposedly there are fewer New Yorkers smoking, yet it seems like the opposite, so that tells me that a lot of the people smoking don't live here, but are from elsewhere, or the City's figures are way off.

Smokers are so ignorant to think that it's okay because it's outdoors. It isn't. That cigarette smoke lingers in the air, sometimes well after the person who was smoking has left the area. Now with these idiots vaping the clouds of smoke can be crazy. They just blow their smoke all over the place. I was on 3rd Avenue the other night. This guy hails a cab, is vaping and then blows out a huge cloud of smoke before getting in, keeping his e-cig lit while getting in the taxi.

Yeah, the right to smoke cigarettes. An industry that lied to its customer about the negative effects of using it. In the old days even MDs were promoting the usage of cigs. YOLO!

Smoke in your home or create a smoke cafe..

Good. People don't have the right to force people to inhale toxic fumes just because those fumes happen to come from a cigarette. People's right to clean air trumps it. If smokers are that insistent on killing themselves, we've got plenty of bridges you can jump off of without taking people with you. It's not comparable to cars smoke at all because cars have an actual purpose.

Of course, this won't be enforced at all.
