Interesting to see the first candidate for governor commenting on a very NYC issue, the subways. Even mayors campaign on other issues and ignore transportation.
If she can actually get the subway some what reliable she's got my vote!. I'll vote for a roach who says they are gonna fix the subway.
Fixing the nyc subway system is not an easy feat. Subways fare are not adjusted for inflation, mta has to borrow money, mta never expanded the system, technology is old and the system is behind repair.

This I know. But I'm also sick of hearing what you said and nothing is being done. What you said isn't an excuse. It needs to be fixed point blank period.
Put a block on all new apartment/commercial developments until a solution for the transit system has taken place. We don't need to add more people into the problem.

Exactly. Also, as much as NYers do not want to accept it, in order to bring our system up to par, the fare would NEED to be significantly increased. People complain about cleanlinesss, trains breaking down and delays but they forget it takes a lot of money to maintain a system as vast as the MTA.
Compared to other cities (DC in particular) our subway is dirt cheap, but let NYers tell it, we are overcharged. Lol And they wonder why there are so many issues. It’s a joke.
