The issue is timing the buy point. You can wait around the bottom, and have to buy on the upswing.

Maybe you should upgrade to manhattan, while it’s RE market is in “free falling”...
What’s the difference between living in the outskirts of NE queens and the poconos, after all...

$999,950 is not an affordable freefall to most people for an apartment.

A two bedroom where we would want in manhattan is millions ...are you trying to say bayside queens is like living in the poconos ? You really would be clueless then about that comparison if that is what you are implying

You couldn't pay me to live in any of those garden apartments off of Springfield.

I was teasing to poke some annoyment out of you for the day...seems like it worked, and thanks for falling precisely as predicted...

We looked at several condo units at the gated community at bay terrace when we decided to move to qns. The condos are nice but the public transportation or traffic to get things done was a big turn off. I understand that you are retired and have nothing else to kill but time so that is probably not an issue.

I have been to both the. Poconos and your beloved bay terrace in the outskirts of qns... glad that you prefer bt. But if I were to choose, the poconos will win. Why would I spend more money on a tiny apartment to endure constant noise and air pollution and traffic jams while not getting the real conveniences of living in nyc...

Does that make sense? Disagreement is allowed here...
