Indeed. The 11pm cutoff is potentially costing businesses up to 5 hours of revenue per night (for those that normally stayed open until 4am, of course). That ain't minor.

I had a video conference meeting with my employer this morning. The younger guy (owners' son) lives in Tribeca. I asked him how the city was, and he said commuter-wise, still dead, but that the 20-30-40 group is out in the restaurants and pretty much filling them to 50% capacity even when it's been 35%.

That's one report.

The capacity cap was loosely followed. Restaurants have families to feed. And good for them.

It is based off fire capacity, not number of tables that fit inside the restaurant
