I don't live in Brooklyn so I can't answer this, but how has he been as borough president? I don't feel like I've heard outsized complaints or compliments about his performance.

You actually believe that "Borough President" is more than a ceremonial position?

I didn't say that, I asked how he was one way or the other. If people found him great, they'll likely think he'll be a good mayor. If they thought he sucked, they likely think he'll be a terrible mayor. People form opinions of their representatives whether the position has power or not.

How is he going to get crime under control when the City Council and the state have enacted anti police laws? Those laws will still be on the books. Yeah guys go get em. In the meantime you will lose you house, your family, your job and your freedom. Thanks but no thanks Eric. I will just sit and wait for the next call. Why do anything for an ungrateful city that will do anything to hurt me!

The next mayor comes into office in January.
Do you advise police do nothing until then
or if there are no substantial changes after that point keep doing nothing until 2024?
Or if it is not about who is mayor, do nothing until what point?

I can only tell you from talking to my friends that are still on the job that this is what is occurring. Eric Adams is not going to fix that.

True but Bloomberg has a brain and a moral compass. I don't think Adams has either.
Lots can( and probably will) go wrong. I don't think it's going to end well.
