Richard Francis Cottingham (born November 25, 1946) is an American serial killer and rapist who murdered a minimum of 11 young women and girls in New York and New Jersey between 1967 to 1980 . He was nicknamed The Torso Killer and Times Square Torso Ripper after his dismemberment and decapitation of two victims on December 2, 1979, in a Travel Inn hotel on West 42nd Street and Tenth Avenue in the vicinity of Times Square.

I watched the show about him few weeks ago. Dude was an average joe, with not so average hobbies.

There was a time we would take King Pkwy from MIL house to ours all the way to Jackie Robinson to avoid Belt, both to save time and to check out the surroundings. Not anymore. Have not done it in a few years. Too many stop lights.

So I was just walking down the street about to visit a friend in Inwood (haven’t been to inwood in a while) and can you believe that a woman got shot in the street in broad daylight?!

Next weekend I think I’ll stick to Jersey again!
