Adams is walking on eggshells... because he is deep down a moderate or a New York City type of conservative (a liberal outside of NYC and large cities), but he is trying not to ruffle the leftists and progressives' feathers.

Also, he gets no help from Hochul, and the D.A's

So this guy had no clue how bad things really were in the street of NYC, but campaigned on cleaning up the city?

And this is the person who the residents of NYC elected?

No one cares about Mayor Adams being "shocked" or anyone else's emotional states. At the end of the day, what matters is the public policy and leadership.
