And it always has, how many people do you meet on a daily basis in NYC and NY State who moved from Florida? Only a handful, how many people do you meet in Florida who either have just moved from NY, or moved 20 years ago??? A Loooooooot !

You forgot to mention a big portion of those people are retired seniors hence Florida being the oldest state age wise lol.

And I believe the real deal is focusing on white collared professionals. Not sure the real deal cares about a family who main source of income is from Target. As far as white collared professionals I don’t know much in NYC who have Florida on their mind unless they are getting a second home. Actually all my rich friends have a second home in Florida but still live in nyc/hamptons

These types of threads are weird and reek of insecurity.

NYC night life has been dead for at least a decade. It is actually pretty lame compared to cities like Miami, Vegas, and New Orleans.

Lone gone are the days of Sound Factory, the Tunnel, and Limelight.

"Miami'd out" maybe but certainly not Tampa or Ft. Lauderdale'd out! Go try to buy a condo or house in a decent area in those parts and see how last it stays on the market.

White families from all over the northeast and midwest are moving to those parts. The numbers growing by the day.

Two of my coworkers moved to Florida. The second one came back yesterday to get his stuff and tell my boss to shove it.the look on his face was priceless.

Lot of people found what they wanted in Florida that NY just couldn’t offer.

And no. Non of them moved to Miami. Who does that.
