Very sad to hear. A lot of the times family & friends do not know how to intervene with someone battling mental illnesses. Also due to not knowing/understanding the mental illness itself
I think they had the right idea back in the day, roond up all the mentally ill and send them to an island, Blackwells island, that way they wont be a menace to society.
we have so many mentally ill dangerous people that walk among up, i say round them up, pout them away before they kill or hurt innocent people.

She was in a custody fight with the father. Rather than surrender control of their kids to him she decided to murder them. She is not mentally ill. Just a depraved and selfish individual who knew exactly what she was doing.

Many many people in this world go through custody fights. A mentally healthy person would simply go through the court process as kids usually end up with the mother anyway. A mentally ill person may kidnap the kids and run away...someone suffering even more with mental illness could do what she did.
Sometimes sitting and thinking what normal person would kill their children could easily get you to a logical answer that is no normal mentally healthy person would do so. You know who would though?? A mentally ill individual would
